Top 10 Fantasy WR's 2012

10: Demaryius Thomas (Denver Broncos): If Tim Tebow can win a playoff game with the help of Demaryius I think Peyton Manning will have a field day with him throughout the season.

9: Brandon Lloyd (NE Patroits): This guy was good with Kyle Orton as his QB. I can’t imagine what him and Tom Brady will look like together!

8: DeSean Jackson (Philly Eagles): He got his money so he should be happy. I have to believe that he will bounce back and have a good season this year. Too much speed not to be on a top ten list.

7: Miles Austin (Dallas Cowboys): Miles is a really good receiver. Looks like he’s in shape and he’s up there with the best when it comes to catching the ball in stride and making a big play.

6. Brandon Marshall (Chicago Bears): He matured a lot last season. Believe it or not he was a leader in the Miami locker room last season. Reconnecting back with Jay Cutler is huge.

5. Julio Jones (Atlanta Falcons): This kid is a beast! It’s going to be scary trying to stop him.

4. Antonio Brown (Pitt Steelers): Don’t scream at me. With Mike Wallace not practicing this guy is fantasy gold. The Steelers just don’t run the ball like they used to. Big Ben is healthy. Mike Wallace will probably return and if that does happen Antonio Brown becomes fantasy platinum!

3. Victor Cruz (NY Giants): This kid knows how to get open and Eli only throws to open receivers. Enough said!

2. Wes Welker (NE Patriots): Hardest working WR in the league. Having Tom Brady as your QB doesn’t hurt.

1. Calvin Johnson (Detroit Lions): Do I need to give an explanation? Ok here’s a quick one. Matt Stafford has a rifle. Calvin Johnson has huge bullet catching hands!

Honorable mention: Larry Fitzgerald (Arizona Cardinals): I don’t like him on fantasy. Too in consistent. Andre Johnson (Houston Texans): Dude stay hurt. Greg Jennings & Jordy Nelson (GB Packers): If I could play them as one person they would be on my list. Roddy White (Atlanta Falcons): Julio will be the man.

DeMarco Murray's 91 yard run

If Demarco Murray do what he did last year we have to believe that the Cowboys will be what they were before he got hurt. The big question is can he stay healthy. I remember after this 91 yard run how twitter was blown up with tweets about Demarco Murray. I was surprise with the tweet by Tony Dorsett. He spoke very highly of Murray. Watching Dez Bryant run almost as fast as Murray did let's you know how much talent and speed that the Cowboys have. What an amazing run.......Check it out!

Top 10 Fantasy RB's countdown

10: Fred Jackson: Not sure of his status because he got injured late last season but if he's good to go he's a sure top 10 pick!

9: DeMarco Murray: This kid ran with the best of them last year until he got hurt. Breaking a Cowboy's franchise record as a rookie should get you on any top 10 list.

8: Matt Forte: He got his money so he should be happy. He would be higher if he scored more TD's in the past. With Michael Bush being on the team he will probably steal the goal line touches away from Matt.

7: LeSean McCoy: This is a safe pick. LeSean is one heck of a running back. Most people will take him higher but I don't like the Eagles so he must be good if he made my list.

6. Darren McFadden: If he stays uninjured he's a beast. Being fragile puts DArren at #6.

5. Ray Rice: Ray could go higher but the Ravens like to pass more than run and he doesn't get many goal line carries.

4. Maurice Jones-Drew: He's all Jacksonville has. If he didn't play for Jacksonville he would be #2.

3. Jamaal Charles: He is a pure sleeper. Many people may have forgotten about him but I haven't. He got hurt early last year so he should be ready to go game 1.

2. Chris Johnson: A bad year last year will equal a great year this year. He clearly has the best potential.

1. Arian Foster: He gains a lot of total yards. A normal week for Arian is 110 yards rushing, 30 yards receiving and 1 TD on average. By far the best in the league.

Honorable mention: Ryan Mathews, Adrian Peterson (injured and won't start the season, otherwise top 3), Darren Sproles, Steven Jackson, & Trent Richardson (a great rookie to be risky with.

NFL Players Getting in Trouble

With a long off season I can't imagine that every football player wants to workout everyday all day until football rolls back around. Me personally I would probably get lazy after a long and hard season. I can't imagine going July - January (7 months) banging, running hard, getting hit, hitting, blocking, etc. A lot of the younger players had it rough growing up. Not a lot of money, a lot of issues going on at home, and no father. With the help of a few loyal people they make it to the NFL. After signing that contract and getting paid I can't imagine how hard it would be not getting in trouble given the background that some of these players come from. Now don't get me wrong I believe that they should take heed and be as careful as possible.

With these recent stories of players getting in trouble it's funny to hear broke people criticizing them when that don't even know them. Dez Bryant getting in trouble is a joyful thing for some people. They scream "I told you". It's like some people get happy when some people fail. Dez is only 23yrs old. He has a lot of growing to do and given his background we probably should be a little patience with him. Now his employer, Jerry Jones and The Dallas Cowboys, they have a standard to keep and they owe him nothing but a pay check.

With training camp a few weeks away I hope that we don't see or hear any more stories about players getting in trouble. There's enough drama on TV with reality shows I look for an escape when it comes to my football. I so hate when ESPN reports the drama. I want to see highlights, stats, and who got signed! I don't know about you but I'm excited about this up coming season of FOOTBALL!

Who you taking???

Chris Johnson or Arian Foster?

Fantasy drafting time will be here before you know it. Chris Johnson had a down year last year. I probably lost my fantasy league because I was banking on him to have a good season. I literally "hung" in there with him after weeks of 52 total yards.  Well he failed me and I'm the fool for "hanging" in there with him after he held out for a new contract. Arian Foster was a beast every week that he played whenever he wasn't hurt. I didn't pick him because I didn't want to be the fool having him in my line-up and he end up being hurt by half time. I was able to get him later in the season but it was too late to be able to make a run.
Going into the 2012 season I'm going to play the fool again and pick Chris Johnson. Reason why, he has to make up for last season. With a young QB he will be the target a lot on offense. The only downfall to that is defenses will key in on him but I feel that he will be special again this season like he was in 2010 his rookie season. Arian Foster is the safe pick but safe don't win it all most of the time. Arian is special too but it's highly unlike for a RB to be as good as he has been for 3 years in a row. With all that said "who are you taking???"
